Gr. 6-8 Standards-Based Unit Plans

The units on this page were developed by Hawaii DOE teachers.  All of these units shall be considered WORKS IN PROGRESS.  Creators of the units are encouraged to (1)Complete writing the unit  (2) Try the unit with a class and (3) Submit the completed unit and couple of  student work samples for (approaching, proficient, exceed proficiency) each level to the Instructional Services Branch via email.

Descriptive feedback have been provided on each unit plan to guide possible revisions. 

Hawaii DOE teachers are invited to submit units to the Mathematics program office via Lotus Notes for review and posting.
